The Effects of Childhood Sexual Abuse on the Adult Singing Voice

Grace Johnson DMA (who presented her doctoral dissertation on this subject, at the Pan European Voice Conference in London, 2005) will discuss adult survivors of CSA, with special attention given to the effects of CSA on singing. The afternoon will include exercises for body/voice awareness and special considerations for teachers on touch and breathing. The session will be interactive with time for questions, at the end.
