Re-Envisioning the Warmup: Workshop and Master Class
with Dr. Meribeth Dayme
Sunday, September 25
Master Class: 2pm-5pm
Kanbar Performing Arts Center
44 Page Street
San Francisco, CA 94102
Top athletes consider exercises for mind, body and spirit as essential to everyday practice and performance. While singers call themselves vocal athletes, they have tended to fall back on old traditions rather explore the very successful universal concepts now used by athletic performers. The same exciting possibilities are available to singers and teachers, and you will get to discover this in this highly interactive and fun workshop and master class!
This event is beneficial for singers in ANY genre: pop, musical theatre, jazz, classical…..you name it.
ABOUT MERIBETH AND CORESINGING
Author of Dynamics of the Singing Voice, The Performer’s Voice, and The Singing Book, Meribeth’s “aha” moment came seven years ago when all elements of her life-long journey in voice came together to create CoreSinging. CoreSinging® offers training for performance and teaching with short sessions designed to uplevel your abilities and open doors to new possibilities. Modeled after some of the groundbreaking systems used in the coaching of highly successful athletes, Eastern and Western concepts of learning and current research in neuro-plasticity and physics, CoreSinging® has created entirely new and exciting ways to approach singing and teaching.
If you are interested in having your student participate as a singer in the master class, please email Molly Rosen at firstname.lastname@example.org
